
Jan. 4--Dolphins defensive lineman Randy Starks, who had to play out of position at nose guard most of the regular-season loss to Baltimore when nose guard Jason Ferguson got injured on the first Ravens possession, was one of the Dolphins inactives for today's game.
Starks was questionable with an ankle injury all week. Most games, he plays about 25 plays, at end or defensive tackle. He had three sacks and an interception this season.
As for the Dolphins other injury issue during the week, David Martin's concussion that was termed a "head/neck" injury, the tight end dressed.
Defensive tackle Rodrique Wright was dressed for the first time this season.
Also inactive for the Dolphins were wide receiver Ernest Wilford; linebacker William Kershaw; guard Shawn Murphy; defensive end Lionel Dotson (for the first time this season); linebacker Quentin Moses; and offensive tackle Nate Garner.
Among Baltimore's inactives was running back Jalen Parmele, a 2008 Dolphins draft pick the Ravens plucked off the Dolphins' practice squad. Also in active are cornerback Evan Oglesby; wide receiver Terrance Copper; linebacker Antwan Barnes; linebacker Robert McCune; offensive tackle Oniel Cousins; and offensive lineman David Hale.
