The Dolphins wanted him back, but only on contractually friendly terms. They got those.

Players wanted him back. When Joey Porter endorsed it, that was good enough for me. Porter and Taylor didn't fit all that well two seasons ago, but this coaching staff should figure out a way to make it work.

I don't see a downside.

If he gives you eight sacks, it's a great deal. He's about 255 pounds right now, and he wants to play closer to 250. He has plenty of time to get in Football shape.

And here's the best part for Dolphins fans: Bill Belichick wanted him badly.
