Jumped on the ESPN Conference call as Mel Kiper, Jr., was talking about the Dolphins .
quot;I have some questions about some of the things they did,quot; Kiper said.
He referred to Patrick Turner was a quot;a major reach.quot;
He called Vontae Davis quot;a risk-reward type of corner,quot; since the Illinois product did not play at a high level in every game.
How would he rank the teams in the division?
He grouped Buffalo (quot;quantity and qualityquot;), the Jets (quot;the best move; going up aggressively and boldly to get Mark Sanchezquot;) and New England together (quot;quantityquot;).
quot;I would put Miami last,quot; he said.
One side note, looking ahead to next year: he still believes that Tim Tebow will be a Wildcat quarterback, an H-back or fullback.?As a regular quarterback, quot;I just don't see it.quot;
quot;We'll be talking about Tim Tebow like we're talking about Pat White,quot; he said.
Here's the thing: while they were both great winners in college (and Tebow still is), I do believe that White, while a lot smaller, is a superior passer. He has better mechanics, a?more conventional?delivery. And his running style (elusiveness rather that power) fits better at the next level.
