Here's a sobering thought for the Buffalo Bills : Jason Taylor is back with the Miami Dolphins.
Taylor could have played for several teams, including the New England Patriots, who were willing to pay him a lot of money. Instead, he gave a hometown discount to the team where he spent most of his potential Hall of Fame career.
Taylor, who turns 35 on September 1, isn't the the dominant player he was in 2006 when he was named the NFL defensive player of the year. But he can still be effective at his age if used correctly. With Taylor in tandem with Joey Porter, the Dolphins' pass rush will give a lot of quarterbacks plenty of aches and pains.
Guess we'll see if the Bills are right about Langston Walker and Brad Butler as their tackles when they meet the Dolphins.
