For those fans already planning their schedules, trips or televison watching around the Dolphins four preseason games, the times and dates of three of the four games have been set.
The Dolphins have only fully confirmed the Aug. 27 Thursday matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa at 8 p.m. on Fox.
However, the Jaguars have posted their preseason opener against Miami on Monday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at newly named LandShark Stadium. The local CBS-TV affiliate (WFOR) will carry the game.
The New Orleans Saints have posted their final preseason meeting against the Dolphins on their team Web site to be held on Thursday, Sept. 3 in the SuperDome at?8 p.m. (Eastern).?Only Miamis second preseason home game against the Carolina Panthers is still not etched in stone. It's?tentatively set for Aug. 22-23 on WFOR. Saturday, Aug. 22 would make more sense because the Dolphins would then have another day to rest
The Dolphins said they will most likely release their definitive preseason schedule next week.

P.S. What do you guys think of the signing of 6-3, 300-pound J.D. Quinn, who was kicked off Oklahoma and has has some DUI issues in the past? His agent swears the young man has learned from his mistakes. As a proud dad on Mother's Day (huh?) I'm for giving young folks second?and?third chances as long as their past mistakes didn't?do harm?to anyone but themselves (as in Quinn's case apparently).?
Happy Mother's Day. In the words of Stewie from Family Guy...Lois,? Lois, Lois, mom, mom, mom, mommy, mama, mama, ma, ma, ma, mom, mom, mommy, mommy, mama.
"WHAT?!!"
"Hi,'' hee-hee-hee-hee.
