What Dolphins unit got the biggest facelift?
May 7, 2009 (Sun Sentinel delivered by Newstex ) --

I'm on the fence about which side of the Miami Dolphins roster received the most help this offseason.

Was it the defense, which received three new free safeties in Gibril Wilson, Ethan Kilmer, and rookie Chris Clemons, three new cornerbacks in Eric Green, and rookies Vontae Davis and Sean Smith, two?new hybrid linebackers in Cameron Wake and Tearrius George, and traded for beefy defensive end Tony McDaniel?

Or was it the offense, which upgraded at center by signing Jake Grove, added two young receivers in rookies Patrick Turner and Brian Hartline, strengthened the Wildcat package by drafting dangerous West Virginia quarterback Pat White, and added depth to the formerly paper-thin offensive line by signing versatile?offensive lineman?Joe Berger.

To help with this debate it would probably be wise to?also breakdown what both units lost.

The only regular contributor on offense who is no longer with the team is last year's starting center Samson Satele, who was traded to the Raiders.

John Beck's also gone courtesy of last week's release, but all he did last season was help Chad Pennington breakdown film ,and get the defense ready by running the looks-squad, so it's hard to say his absence will be noticed.

On defense the 2009 Dolphins took a couple of hits, losing Renaldo Hill and Andre' Goodman in free agency, and?releasing defensive end and team captain Vonnie Holliday to save money.

You all know I'm a man of the people, so I've taken?the vote?to the people.

Here is a poll that should help us come to a conclusion about which unit got the biggest facelift?

What unit do you expect to be better based?solely?on?the additions made to the roster?

And what one new player do you expect to make the biggest impact to the team?
